Multi-Level Control

Multilevel system of role-based permissions combines traditional access permissions with a detailed roles assigning to the appropriate users or groups. Each user or/and group of users has its own interface to access ISPmanager. There are four login levels in the control panel with each level having its appropriate roles and responsibilities:

Administrator Features

The product contains complete hosting automation for such popular Unix-systems as Linux and FreeBSD platforms. ISPmanager supports various mail services, allows to manage disk space quotas and mail box limitations, and manage your web-server advanced settings.

Using ISPmanager, Sys Admins will no longer have to worry about mail boxes and domains management. Users will be able to change their psswords and add new mail boxes by themselves.

The easy to use control panel allows the administrator to easily configure and control the many features available. ISPmanager allows administrators to configure operating system features and perform related tasks such as hardware and software setup and configuration, security, system maintenance, user account management. Other features allows to administer the extensive features of your control panel to setup your email accounts and databases increase your disk space and traffic quotas configure web statistics and perform many other important operations. All from your web browser.

User Features

ISPmanager provides a visually enhanced and better-organized user interface that alleviates these problems and makes the control panel easier to use. The user-oriented features include the possibility to create mail boxes, sites, change passwords, etc. Many other features are available, however they are too numerous to list here. It is the goal of ISPmanager to provide everything that can satisfy all of your needs.

Interface Themes and Languages

ISPmanager contains several user interface themes and supports various languages, allowing you to change the appearance of your whole environment via the themes control panel. If you'd like to change your languages/themes preferences, ISPmanager allows to configure the control panel in the language/theme of the user's choice and add new language/theme support.

Operating Systems Support

Currently, ISPmanager supports the following operating systems: FreeBSD, RedHat, Fedora, Debian, Mandrake, Gentoo, Suse. But our developers constantly work at porting ISPmanager on other operating systems.

Software Support

ISPmanager has no strict binding to the software it works with. It perfectly works with both Apache 1.3 and Apache 2 web servers. ISPmanager supports various mail servers Sendmail, Postfix, Exim, CommunGatePro, any FTP server, MySQL different versions.

ISPmanager does not require any special software for your server. Any software you like will do.

If your server already has the software installed, you will have no problems with setting this software to work with ISPmanager control panel.

Scalability

ISPmanager has unlimited abilities for functionality enhancement and integration with other software, for example, with accounting and billing systems.

ISPmanager supports plug-ins (addons) extension mechanism so you can enhance ISPmanager functionality by yourself anytime you need it.

ISPmanager has an open API (application programming interface). This ensured that you can use all features of the control panel in your programs.

Events processing system performs required operations on certain functions executing in ISPmanager. For example, if you want notification messages automatical sending as new WWW domain (site) was created.

You also can set up the control panel to make its server work as a secondary domain name server for another server under ISPmanager control.
