Control panel users are system users authorized and have everything to control WWW domains, FTŠ accounts, mail boxes, data bases and domain names.
WWW domainsWWW domain (site) is a collection of webpages and scripts accessible via domain name on the Internet. Using our control panel, you can set WWW domains parameters and check their views statistics. RedirectsThe control panel allows WWW domain URL directing to any other site URL. Error pagesAn error page is a feature that allows you to replace default error pages with ones you create. You can specify which error page will be displayed to a site visiter in case of errors appearing. In this case a visiter will see quality pages as errors appear. (errors like "Page Not Found"). Access limitationFor security reasons, user can limit the access to some of his WWW domain directories. Each protected directory can have multiple users (each with different passwords if you prefer) who have access to it. PHP extensionsUser can view the PHP extensions list installed in the system and choose which one will be used for the WWW domains. Users cannot disable the extensions enabled by administrator. SSL certificatesIf a user is allowed to use SSL to set up secure connection with his WWW domain over HTTPs protocol, he is allowed to access SSL certificates control module. Using this module, user is able to create self-signed certificates, import existing ones, sign different sertificates by his own, choose certificate for WWW domain. FTP accountsUser can create FTP accounts, where one of WWW domain directories or private directory may become a home one. Domain names (DNS)User can manage his domain zones and edit the records contained there. Mail domainsUser can control his mail domains used for mail boxes creation. In an email address, the domain name is the part after the @ in the address. Mail boxesUser can control his mail boxes changing their settings, viewing the disk space occupied and cleaning up the mail boxes. Mail groupsA mail group is a list of several email accounts that are grouped together under one email address. This feature enables sending one message to multiple recipients at once. All the incoming mail will be redirected to the group members. Mail redirectsYou can forward or redirect email from one mailbox to another email address. By creating an email redirect messages are sent to a different email box without requiring the sender to know the new address. Email can be also redirected to an address outside the domain. Mailing listsFor mailing lists management you can use such programs as Majordomo and MailMan. This control panel module is a web-interface for these programs. User can create and delete mailing lists, change their parameters, control their subscribers and senders. Scheduler (cron)Scheduler is a web-interface to cron daemon. It allows periodically execute your tasks on the server. This module is available for users with shell access. File managementUser has the full access to his home directory and can control it through the ISPmanager module "File management". He/she can create / delete / copy / move files and directories there, change file attributes, download files from the server, upload the local disk files. DatabasesUser can access his own databases list, change their settings, check the disk space occupied by the databases, control the databases users. BackupTo prevent the loss of data, the copies of users' files, mail boxes and data bases are made daily. User can view files and directories stored in archives, restore them and download to local disk. Web-scriptsUsers can setup popular web-scripts (guestbooks, photo galleries, forums, polls, chat, and the like) on their WWW domains right from the control panel. Usage statisticsThere is a module which allows to a user viewing the total number of his WWW domains, FTP accounts, mail boxes, databases, domain names on the server, and the use of disk space and network traffic. Support center* for ISPmanager Pro only The module "Technical support center" helps to organize dialog between users of different access levels in order to solve problems of subordinate users by users with higher level access. In other words, unprivileged users can ask their reseller, resellers can ask their administrator. |
