VDSmanager administrator has complete control over Virtual Dedicated Servers and resellers. Below are the basic features available for the administrator through VDSmanager web-interface.

VDS management

The module of Virtual Dedicated Servers management provides functionality to create new VDS, to change properties of the existing VDS, to switch on, switch off and delete VDS. Also the administrator can allocate the additional IP-addresses for the VDSes through this module.

Users

There are three types of users in VDSmanager. They are administrators with absolute permissions, resellers (users who can control their own VDS only), Virtual Dedicated Servers owners. You can control two types of users by the module of users management - administrators and resellers. Using the module, administrator can create users, limit resellers access to the resources, enable/disable users accounts, access VDSmanager control panel using these users permissions.

VDS presets

Using presets while creating Virtual Dedicated Servers, you will save much of your time. These presets contains all the main parameters of VDS, such as, disk space, processor quotas, random memory access, etc. The module "VDS presets" provides VDSmanager administrator with effective control of these presets. Then you use more than one VDSmanager servers, you can transfer VDS presets from one server to another.

Disk presets

VDSmanager allows creating lists of preinstalled software. This software will be exported to the Virtual Dedicated Servers. The result is that you can create VDS for various purpose on one physical server. And since preinstalled software does not occupy Virtual Dedicated Server disk space, you will save much of your physical server disk space.

The list of IP-addresses

VDSmanager administrator can list IP-addresses used to assign them to Virtual Dedicated Servers.

For centralized allocations of IP-addresses between servers of VDSmanager and DNSmanager, you can use our company special product - IPmanager.

Backup

VDSmanager provides an opportunity to backup your Virtual Dedicated Server data. But administrator cannot backup files and directories exported from the disk preset. Administrator can set the number of archives kept daily and choose the place for its location - local directory or remote FTP server.

Traffic statistics

Administrator can view different VDS incoming and outgoing traffic statistics during the chosen period.

Current activity

You can view system users current work sessions and enforce any of the sessions close.

Acting log

Administrator can view the control panel functions calls information, find out all the actions made by a user and his IP-address. There is a filter in the module for the fast searching of the information you need.
