SSL certificates

When you use our products, you may be sure that the confidential data between your server and clients are securely transferred. Example of such data is authentification information (login/password) that is used to access the control panel. When speaking about the billing system, there are much more confidential data, from personal information to various financial data. Secure transfer of such information is our essential mission.

All our software products use the SSL protocol (https://) by default, that is a commercial standard that protects data submitted over the Internet. A SSL certificate, that aims to identify the server, is used to provide a secure connection between a web-server and a client's browser.

All the SSL certificates can be divided into two classes:

Self-signed SSL certificates are free SSL certificates that are set by default on the server. This certificate does not provide the web-server identification, but encrypts of the data transferred. When accessing the control panel of the server with the self-signed certificate, the client will get a number of security alert messages regarding your site from his browser .

Self-signed certificate DOES NOT guarantee that your data is securely transferred. Thus, the client may want to exit the browser and NOT to access the control panel.
Certificates signed by the root Certificate Authority — such a certificate provides secure data encryption and fully identifies your server. The Certification Authority certifies that you are the owner of the domain for which the certificate was signed. Depending on the certificate type, your legal entity and its location may be also certified.

The certificates are provided on the fee-paying basis. Depending on their parameters and data to be certified, the prices may vary greatly. When using any of these certificates on our server, the browser will inform the client that the connection is secure.
