Additional functionality

BILLmanager is a fast-developing hosting billing system. We are constantly introducing new functionality and trying to do our best to meet the needs of our customers.  

Human imagination is endless. Along with base functionality of our system, you may wish to add some unique features to BILLmanager. We believe that you dreams may come true.

We have prepared a number of features that you can add to BILLmanager yourself:

• Events — mechanism that allows to perform any action prior and after a billing system function is executed. 
• Additional form fields — add additional fields into existing forms in the billing.
• Plug-ins — create your own modules.
• Third-party integration — configure integration with various payment systems, control panels and domain registrars. 

Events

The event mechanism allows to execute any of your programs before or after a billing function is executed. Your program will receive the same data as the billing system.

There many methods how to use this mechanism. Let's consider one example. When registering a user in the billing, you automatically register him on your forum. It is really easy to do. You write a script on you favourite programming language and register the event for account creation. When registering the account, your script will receive a client's login, password, e-mail and full name, and will automatically register a new user on your forum.

Additional form fields

There are a lot of entities in our billing, such as users, payers, packages, servers, etc. Each of them has a set of parameters that can be edited through the billing forms.

You can easily enlarge the number of parameters by adding required forms to existing ones. For example, you can add  "Account number" to Payer, or "Height", "Weight", "Eyes color" to User. The fields that you add will be included into the billing interface, and you will be able to collect, store and handle any required information.

Plug-ins

Plug-ins is the most convenient means of enlarging billing functionality. Using plug-ins you may add your own modules. They can be included into the main menu, translated into several languages, so a user will use them as all other BILLmanager modules. 

Plug-ins allow you to use unlimited opportunities. All you ideas can turn into reality.

Third-party integration

There are thousands of payment systems, payments aggregators,  card processing centers and other payment methods. BILLmanager integrates with the most favorite ones, and the list of supported systems will be enlarged.

It is impossible to integrate the billing with all payment systems. That's why we implemented a mechanism that allows you to integrate a desired payment system into BILLmanager yourself. Using this mechanism you can automatically receive payments from your clients through various payment systems.
