Features

There are two types of user accounts in BILLmanager :

• Administrators — employees of your company who can be assigned to different departments. You can set access limits for each administrator. For example, administrators of the support center don't need to view financial reports, while accountants don't need any information about servers.
• Customers — clients of your company who can access only their accounts, services, payments, etc.

BILLmanager is available in three versions: Standard, Advanced and Corporate. Depending on the version, you can use different functions of the billing system.

"Administrator"

• Provider
  • Projects (only in Corporate version). Manage Company hosting projects. For example, You may have several sites, providing various services or services for different categories of customers.
  • Companies (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage our legal entities. The legal entities may be associated with different projects and/or use various payment methods.
  • Payment methods (only in Standard version). Customize available payment methods. In Advanced and Corporate versions You can set payment methods for each company via the "Companies" module.
  • Administrators. Add/edit your administrator accounts, providing privileges to access the system modules.
  • Department. Administrator groups. Add/edit your administrator groups, providing privileges to access the system modules.
  • Affiliate programs (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage affiliate program to reffer new customers.
• Customer
  • Customers. Customer accounts management: quick view of services, personal accounts, expenses, etc. 
  • Payers (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage payer profiles and provider's companies associated with them.
  • Contracts (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage contracts between provider and customers.
  • Users (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage customers' users. Any customer can have several users who access accounts with their own privileges to use system functions.
  • Account groups (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Add and customize various groups of customers.
• Products/Services
  • Domain names. Manage customers' domain names.
  • Hosting. Manage a "Shared hosting" service.
  • Virtual servers. Manage a "VDS/VPS" service.
  • SSL certificates (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage customers' SSL-certificates.
  • VDS/VPS reselling (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage a "VDS/VPS" reselling service.
  • Dedicated servers (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage customers' dedicated servers.
  • DNS hosting (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage DNS hosting.
  • Other services (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage other services available in the control panel.
• Finances
  • Payments. Manage customers' payments (invoices): search, view, print, etc.
  • Invoices. Add and customize accounting documents: search, view, print, etc.
• Products
  • Packages. Manage hosting plans, cusromize parameters and prices, etc.
  • Package groups. Manage item groups.
  • Kind of services. Customize available services.
  • Item types. Manage various types of main products, services and add-ons.
  • Enumerations. Customize add-ons enumeration.
  • Agreements. Customize offers or agreements for your services.
• Support center
  • Active tickets. Trouble ticket system: view unanswered tickets in the support center, answer them and assign to responsible administrators.
  • All tickets. Manage the archive of all tickets.
  • Categories. Add and customize ticket categories that facilitate communication with customers who send tickets to the support center.
  • Answer templates. Add and customize templates for standard answers.
  • Notifications. Manage announcements that customers can see upon logged in to the billing, e.g. concerning maintenance works.
• Tools
  • Join accounts (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Merge several accounts into a single one.
  • Clone items. Transfer services from one customer account to another.
• Directories
  • Countries. List of countries that can be used in the billing system.
  • Currencies. Manage currencies used in the billing system, customize exchange rates.
  • Units of measure. Manage units of measure for service parameters: Mb, Mhz, etc.
  • Top-level domains. Manage top-level domains.
• Statistics
  • Reports. Generate reports about company activity.
  • Current activity. Monitor current connections to the billing system.
  • Action log. Monitor a full log of operations running in BILLmanager.
• Settings
  • Provider settings (only in Standard and Advanced versions). Customize Projects for hosting services. In Corporate version all project settings are located in the "Projects" module.
  • Global settings. Customize BILLmanager global settings.
  • Features. Enable or disable numerous BILLmanager features.
  • Locales management. Customize billing localization to different languages
  • Document templates. Add and customize document templates: invoices, contracts, etc
  • Message templates. Add and customize message templates that are sent to customers, e.g. concerning service activation, suspension, account balance, etc.
  • Registrars. Manage settings for connection to domain name registrars.
  • Datacenters (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage datacenters that are used to house servers.
  • Servers. Manage servers with active services.
  • Certification Authorities (only in Advanced and Corporate versions). Manage SSL-certificate Certification Authorities.
  • Themes. Customize themes available in BILLmanager.
  • Notification subscription. Subscribe E-mail to billing notifications.
  • User settings. Customize individual parameters for BILLmanager operation.
