Backups

You are reading the documentation of ISPsystem - a software developer. It contains general information about the platform you are working with.

If your question relates to access to the service, administrator contacts, tariffs, etc., contact your hosting provider - the company providing your services.

If you don't know who your hosting provider is, you can identify it by domain name or server IP address through the service https://www.whois.com/whois/

A backup is a virtual machine (VM) disk image that is used to restore it. Backups contain all VM settings. For example, network settings, passwords, etc. Read more int the Backups section of the VMmanager Administrator Guide.

The Images for recovery section is displayed if you have at least one backup created or if the platform administrator has allowed users to back up their VMs.

For backups to be available, the "Space for images" add-on must be included in the virtual server tariff.
