The new release system offers a more flexible approach to software updates, providing users with a choice between high stability and access to new features.
The platforms will be available in two forms:
- Stable — a stable version of the software.
- Regular — a regular version of the software.
Stable versions undergo additional testing before release, ensuring high reliability of the software. Based on the test results, additional fixes and improvements are made to the stable version, optimizing the software's performance. It is recommended to use this version for maximum system stability.
Regular versions, on the other hand, offer new features and updates more frequently. They undergo thorough testing, but some features may require additional testing after release, allowing for refinements to be included in subsequent Stable releases. Thus, a Stable release is based on the codebase of the Regular version but includes additional post-release checks to ensure maximum software stability.
Please note: You can switch from a Regular version to a Stable release right now, even if your Regular version is based on a more recent codebase. In this case, the software will already be configured to receive Stable version updates, but the update itself will only become available after the release of a new Stable version that includes all the functional capabilities of the installed Regular version. Until then, there will be no changes in the system's operation, but subsequent updates will come from the Stable branch.
We regularly publish a list of changes for each version on our website so that our customers can stay informed about all the latest developments. We also recommend keeping a close eye on updates and installing the latest releases in a timely manner.
