Equipment Inventory Management module and asset management
The Equipment Inventory Management module in DCImanager is a tool for easy and convenient inventory management of IT assets. With this module, you will always know where each piece of equipment is, what condition it is in, and how it was used before. It helps to reduce equipment losses and plan purchases economically, even if there are many data centers with hundreds of racks.

Get demoAutomatic detection and inventorying of components
DCImanager automatically detects components installed in the servers. The parts you find can be put on the inventory in a couple of clicks. This eliminates the need to fill out the cards yourself and specify detailed characteristics. If the part has been moved to another server, all you need is to run diagnostics again and update the list of components.
Equipment statuses and operating history
DCImanager shows where the equipment was used, where it was stored, and whether it was repaired. History stores information about who did the movements and when. The movement history helps, for example, when investigating incidents or to determine what equipment is best allocated to a particular project.
Unified inventory management for all data centers
With DCImanager's Equipment Inventory Management module, you can keep a centralized inventory of assets, even if you have several data centers in different cities. This eliminates a number of difficulties in managing a geographically distributed infrastructure. For example, there is no need to collect and manually aggregate data from different sources.
Warranty service control
In DCImanager, you can specify the warranty periods for the equipment so that this information is always close at hand. This will help you quickly clarify your warranty obligations or extend your service contract with the vendor in a timely manner.
Information for purchase planning
With Equipment Inventory Management module, you get a simple and transparent system for inventory. Information about what IT assets you have and how they are used will help you optimally plan the procurement for the next period.
