Managing geographically distributed infrastructure in a single window
With DCImanager, you can manage the infrastructure of all data centers from a single window, even if they are located on different sides of the world. This functionality is implemented through the platform's location mechanism. It eliminates the need to buy multiple licenses of different software, switch between systems, or request data from remote locations.

A location is a logical entity in which a server is allocated to manage the data center infrastructure. DCImanager connects to the location server via SSH and configures services.
To protect your infrastructure during remote management, we have implemented the following procedure in DCImanager for handling locations:
- Working with locations via SSH only.
This eliminates the need to open ports through which intruders can attack; - Isolation of locations from each other.
The equipment in each location is linked only to the central DCImanager platform, but not to each other.

Many tasks are performed without the presence of employees in the data center
With DCImanager, you get a single and accurate picture of the entire infrastructure: what equipment each data center has and in what condition it is. No need to aggregate data from different sources or switch between systems. This increases control accuracy and flexibility.
Within each location, DCImanager allows to:
