LXD. Error "limits.network.priority"

Description

An error appears when performing operations in an LXD cluster with a VM, such as adding an IP address or starting up:

Unhandled exception: Invalid config: Unknown configuration key: limits.network.priority

This error means that the VM was created on a version of the snap LXD package lower than 5.21.1 LTS. Such versions support the limits.network.priority parameter, which is not used in 5.21.1LTS.

Solution

To resolve the issue:

1. In the web interface, enter Virtual Machines →  menu .
2. Stop the VM.
3. Start the VM.

Restarting the VM will clear the error.
