License renewal and deletion

How to renew monthly and annual licenses

You can renew your monthly or annual license in your client area.

  1. Log in to your client area.
  2. Enter Products/ServicesLicenses.
  3. Select a license and click on its name.
  4. Click the Renew button.
  5. Select the period and payment method.

If the license is still active, it will be renewed from the date it is scheduled to stop. If the license is in the Suspended status, it will be renewed from the date of license renewal.

If the license is not renewed, the license will go to the Suspended status. If not renewed within 30 days, the license will automatically be deleted. Once the license has been deleted, any actions with it will be unavailable.

What happens if you do not pay for your license

If you do not renew your license for any ISPsystem product, it will become inactive and you will be blocked from logging in to the platform interface. All your data and settings made with the platform will be saved. You will be able to manage them via the command line or third-party services.

What happens if you do not pay for BILLmanager 6 licenses

If the license is not renewed, BILLmanager functionality is blocked:

  • billing is stopped;
  • you cannot login or interact with the interface;
  • your clients will not be able to log in and manage services.

What happens if you do not pay for the VMmanager 6 license

If the license is not renewed, all lists are blocked on the platform, except for those in the Nodes, Images and Virtual Machines sections. Only the delete function will be available in them. The Renew License banner appears at the top of the panel. Click the banner to pay for the license and continue to use the control panel.

What happens if you do not pay for the DCImanager 6 license

If the license is not renewed, the platform will be locked out of equipment management. In this case, the equipment will continue to work and the settings will be saved. To resume the operation of DCImanager 6:

  • renew your license in the client area;
  • in the web interface of the platform, click Update the license in the pop-up message about blocking.

How to restore a deleted license

If you did not manage to renew the license and it was automatically deleted, order a new license:

  • for v5, BILLmanager, DNSmanager licenses, specify the same IP address and the platform will work with the same settings;
  • for VMmanager, DCImanager 6 licenses, specify the same parameters (number of CPUs and equipment) and update the license according to the instruction If the token has changed for DCImanager 6 or VMmanager 6.

If you have deleted a perpetual license or a license that has not yet expired and you want to restore it, contact our client service department.
