How to activate a service manually

Description

If the Manual processing module is selected for a service, when ordering it, the system will generate a task to open the service. To issue such a service to a provider's client, you need to manually specify the service parameters and start the task. For more details on how tasks work, see the article Tasks in the BILLmanager documentation.

How to activate a service manually

To issue a service:

  1. Enter ToolsTasks.
  2. Select the required task to open the service. For example, you can find it by service ID.
  3. Navigate to the selected task with the Edit button.
  4. Click the Assign to me button to see additional fields to fill in the parameters.
  5. Fill in the fields and click the Close the task button.

After that the service will move to the Active status, and the client will receive details for connection in the client area.

If the fields for filling in the parameters are not displayed

It is possible that after clicking the Assign to me button the necessary fields for filling in the parameters are not displayed. This can happen if the parameters for the product type are not added. Product type parameters are the information that is required to open a service. For example, IP address, username, and password. For more information, see the article Product type settings in the BILLmanager documentation.

To customize the product type settings:

  1. Enter ProductsProduct Types → select a product → click Parameters → click Add.
  2. Add the required parameters and click Ok.
  3. Restart the platform. After configuring the parameters, a prompt to restart will automatically appear in the interface.

After restarting the platform, fields for filling in the parameters will appear in the task.
