There are no special tariff settings required for integration with VMware vCloud Director. General information on how to add a new tariff.
Resources
Tariff plan content impacts on which resources and how many of them will be available within a VDC. You can set up tariff content in Products → Tariff plans → select a plan → button Config.
The following resources can be used within this integration (internal resource name is specified within brackets):
For VDC with resources distributed as Allocation pool:
- Private network (privatenet)
- CPU number (ncpu)
- RAM (mem)
- Disc space (disc)
- Number of virtual machines (vmlimit)
- Number of network connections (portlimit)
- Base clock of one CPU core (cpu). The default value is 2.2 GHz.
- RAM reserve ratio (mem_rate)
- Disc space reserve ratio (disc_rate)
- Number of routers (routerlimit)
For VDC with resources distributed as Allocation vApp:
- CPU number (ncpu)
- RAM (mem)
- Disc space (disc)
- Number of virtual machines (vmlimit)
- Number of network connections (portlimit)
Also, the integration module is able to collect statistics on how the following resources are utilized:
- Disc space (disc)
- RAM (mem)
- CPU number (ncpu)
- Number of routers (routerlimit)
- Number of "Compact" routers (routerlimit_compact)
- Number of "Full" routers (routerlimit_full)
- Number of "X-Large" routers (routerlimit_x-large)
- Number of "Full4" routers (routerlimit_full4)
- Number of network connections (portlimit)
- Number of private networks (privatenet)
- Number of DHCP pools (dhcppool)
- Number of load balancer pools (lbpool)
- Number of load balancer servers (lbvirtualserver)
- Number of VPN tunnels (vpn)
- Number of NAT rules (natrule)
- Number of firewall rules (firewalrule)
