You can integrate BILLmanager with a product that manages the domain zone of a service provider. This allows assigning domain names of the third-level to service IP addresses. If the integration is set up BILLmanager creates an A record of the subdomain in the provider domain zone. The system can be ntegrated with DNSmanager or ispmanager.
Note:
Ensure that the provider domain is delegated to nameservers running DNSmanager or ispmanager.
To connect the nameserver to BILLmanager:
- Navigate to Integration → Name server → Add.
- Select a control panel that manages the domain zone: DNSmanager or ispmanager.
- Select a Provider that can use the name server.
- Enter any Name for this integration.
- Enter the URL to access the control panel. Make sure it is available from the server with BILLmanager.
- Specify the Username and Password to access the control panel. The account must have the "User" role permissions. The domain zone for free third-level domains must belong to this user.
- To allow the creation of free domains, enable the For free domain name option.
- To allow the creation of provider domains, enable the Provider name servers option.
- To allow clients to create their own domains, enable the Private name servers option.
