Creating a VM with multiple disks

To enable a client to order a virtual machine (VM) with multiple disks:

  1. Create a VM configuration in VMmanager with the required number of disks. Read more in Configurations of virtual machines of VMmanager documentation.
  2. Configure a tariff plan in BILLmanager:
    1. Specify the name of the created configuration in the VPS template parameter.

    2. If the client should not be able to change the configuration of a VM, exclude CPU number, RAM and Disk space parameters from the tariff plan content. 

      Note
        The Disk size parameter affects only the size of the main disk of the VM.

    Storage for VM disks is selected on the VMmanager side. Read more in the platform documentation.
